•  Laerskool Courtrai is gefundeer in Christelike beginsels en dit word van elkeen 

     verwag om dit te respekteer.  Die oppergesag en almag van God word onvoorwaardelik

     erken.  Geloofsvryheid word ook respekteer.

• Die gesin is dié primêre opvoedingsbasis vir elke leerder.  Dit word van ons leerders

    verwag om volwasse persone se gesag te erken en dit ook te aanvaar.  Volwassenes sal

    poog en daarna streef om elke leerder met liefde, geduld en begrip te lei en te

    ondersteun.

• Die belange van ons skool word bo individuele belange en behoeftes gestel.  Deur ons

    gedrag, optrede, taal en denke sal die goeie naam van die skool uitgedra en bevorder

    word.

• Ons glo in vreedsame naasbestaan en omdat leerders en opvoeders in ‘n vennootskap is,

    moet daar voortdurend aan wedersydse positiewe gesindhede gebou word.

• Die handhawing van hoë standaarde is ononderhandelbaar, juis om te voldoen aan  die

    behoeftes van die tyd.  Daarom is ‘n positiewe en gesonde leerkultuur van die

    allergrootste belang.

           ondersteuning.

7.         Ons strewe om ons medemens met agting, respek en liefde te bejeën.

8.         Ons het medelye met die lotgevalle van andere.

9.         Ons neem uit die verlede die goeie en skep daaruit ‘n eie toekoms.

10.       Ons beloof om ons leuse uit te leef:  Fide et Virtute.   (Geloof en Moed) 

Ethos

• Courtrai Primary School is founded on Christian principles and it is expected of everyone to

    respect them. The supreme authority and sovereignty of God is unconditionally recognized.

    Freedom of faith is also respected.

• The family is the primary educational base for each learner. It is expected of our learners

    to respect and accept the authority of adults. Adults shall endeavour to guide and support

    each learner with love, patience and understanding.

• The interests of the school are set above individual interests and needs. Our behaviour,

    conduct, language and actions must promote the good name of the school.

• We believe in harmony and because learners and facilitators are in partnership, we must

    promote positive attitudes.

• The maintenance of high standards is non-negotiable in order to meet the demands of the

    times. A positive and healthy culture of learning is therefore of utmost importance.

CODE OF HONOUR

1.         We acknowledge God as our Creator and Saviour.

2.         As future citizens of our country we strive to contribute to its welfare.

            ourselves.
